change begins here
Welcome to OUTSPOKEN!
My promise and disclaimer: Outspoken is a place I have longed for—where I am far less likely to get in trouble for speaking my mind. There will be posts a couple times a week. On Fridays, I’ll respond to a question or request for advice. If you’ve got one, hit me up!
Hi—I’m Beth Mitchell, Founder and Principal of Change Agent. I’m so glad you’re here.
For this inaugural post, I have a few quick questions…
How many things migrate from one week to the next on your to-do list?
How many courses or webinars have you signed up for and never finished?
How many planning documents are gathering dust in your Google Drive?
How many times have you told yourself, “I just need to get through this week,” before you can finally look ahead?
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re just a little stuck.
Most of us are.
And I’d bet good money it’s likely not for lack of effort; it’s because doing something different means disrupting your routine. And disrupting your own life—your business, your habits, your relationships—is really hard to do alone.
In my experience, most of us know what we want:
More time. More clarity. A better team dynamic. A brand that actually reflects the business we’ve built.
We usually know why we want it, too:
More money. More impact. More alignment.
We want to be the person we know we could be—if we just get our act together.
But how to make change stick? That’s where most people get paralyzed.
And that’s where I come in.
At Change Agent, I don’t offer pre-packaged solutions. I help you build a strategy around your life, your team, your timing—and then I stay with you as you make it real. Together, we get specific about what’s stuck and what’s possible, and then create a plan you can actually follow.
This isn’t therapy. It’s not another course you won’t finish. It’s clear, structured, honest support that helps you move from intention to execution.
Because real change—the kind that lasts—isn’t just about naming a goal.
It’s about seeing your patterns, understanding your priorities, and having someone help you stay accountable when things get uncomfortable (which they will).
Again and again, I’ve seen the power of the right change:
A founder finally updates their messaging—and lands the right clients.
A leader sets boundaries with their team—and gets their evenings back.
An entrepreneur stops waiting for the perfect conditions— and finally launches.
Whatever it is…it’s possible.
You just need a path.
Not the path—because here’s the truth:
What works for me might not work for you.
What works for someone else’s business may not work for yours.
It’s not a lack of information that keeps us stuck.
There are a million websites and AI bots that will tell you how to perfect your marketing funnel.
There are thousands of coaches and consultants promising to help you heal your trauma, earn seven figures, and organize your pantry.
But their equation—expertise + effort = change—rarely accounts for the uncontrolled variable:
you.
You are why I founded Change Agent.
You might wonder what qualifies me for this work.
Here’s the answer: I qualify myself.
It’s taken me a while to own it, but I see what I want and I make it happen—no matter what. Change Agent is proof of that.
I’ve changed my own life in a thousand ways with a hundred different strategies. I learn, I try, I fail, I restart, I rethink, I break through, I practice, and I persist.
And here’s what I know for sure:
The best way to make change work for you is to create it.
So let me ask you:
What would you change if you had the clarity, structure, and support to move forward—one smart step at a time?
If you’re ready to find out, let’s talk.
